Description

House of Mystery #179 Savannah pedigree (DC, 1969) CGC NM+ 9.6 Off-white to white pages. In addition to Neal Adams' frightful cover for this issue, Bernie Wrightson's first professional story art is contained inside, as is a Joe Orlando story. Wrightson would make a name for himself with his work on DC's 1970s horror titles, becoming the pre-eminent macabre artist of his generation. As of this writing, this issue ties with two others for highest-graded copy status in the CGC census 4/11: 3 in 9.6, none higher.
