Description
Todd McFarlane Amazing Spider-Man #307 Cover Original Art (Marvel, 1988). The Chameleon's recent exposure to chemicals now means he can change his look at will, and on this incredible cover image, he takes on the look of Spider-Man. This is one of the most dramatic covers of the entire Todd McFarlane run -- and it doesn't even show the "real" Web-Slinger! The art is in ink over blue pencil with whiteout on Marvel Comics Bristol board, with an image area of 9.75" x 15". The board has been exposed to sunlight via an old framing, and the image area has tanned to a light cream color; other than that, the art is in Excellent condition. It's been signed a number of times by McFarlane; in addition to his usual signature within the art image (along the lower left, right above the UPC Code box), there are two signatures in the bottom margin, plus another on the backside.Todd McFarlane's Spider-Man covers are highly coveted items by devoted fans and collectors, and we're sure that this "amazing" cover will see plenty of bid action. It's already wowed our Heritage Comics staff -- imagine what it would look like in your collection!
