This cosmic comic expands upon the Silver Surfer's origin and marks the beginning of backup stories centering around The Watcher, in which his origin is told. This out-of-this-world comic also features the first appearance of Shalla-Bal, who will appear in the MCU's upcoming The Fantastic Four movie.
