Top-tier copies of this issue have become (ahem) hot commodities over the past few years, with very scarce 9.8 copies such this one selling for as high as $55,000! Much of this heat stems from the first appearance of fan-favorite Luciferian villain Mephisto, featured here on a striking cover by John Buscema. Other highlights include a "Tales of the Watcher" backup story and art by Buscema, Joe Sinnott, Gene Colan, and Paul Reinman. Overstreet 2024 NM- 9.2 value = $3,100.
