Movie Comics #1 Carson City pedigree (DC, 1939) CGC NM+ 9.6 Off-white to white pages. Unique concept had stories told with movie stills, which in the premiere issue included Son of Frankenstein, Gunga Din, The Great Man Votes, and others. Harry Lampert interior art. This pedigree copy is the only one CGC has certified to date that managed a grade higher than VF/NM 9.0. Overstreet 2008 NM- 9.2 value = $5,700.
