Flash Comics #5 Nova Scotia pedigree (DC, 1940) CGC VF/NM 9.0 Off-white to white pages. "King" Standish, aka the King, appeared in this title for years, but this was the one and only time he was the main cover feature! That's him about to get the Venus De Milo "anvil" treatment on Jon Blummer's cover. Also appearing are the Flash (naturally), Hawkman, Johnny Thunder, and many more. Sheldon Moldoff drew both the Hawkman and Cliff Cornwall features. Only one copy (the Mile High) tops this offering on CGC's current census. Overstreet 2010 VF/NM 9.0 value = $4,339; NM- 9.2 value = $6,200. CGC census 10/10: 3 in 9.0, 1 higher.
