Description
Green Lantern #1 (DC, 1941) CGC VG 4.0 Off-white to white pages. Howard Purcell's cover for this issue is one of the most famous of the Golden Age. Currently in the top 50 of Overstreet's Top 100 Golden Age Comics list, this milestone issue has maintained its value over the years. The predominantly black cover readily shows wear and tear, but this copy's imperfections are mostly along the edges of the book. An impressive copy, especially considering that Gerber lists this issue as "scarce". Green Lantern's origin is retold here. CGC notes, "Tape on cover, interior cover & centerfold."
