Description
Detective Comics #28 (DC, 1939) CGC VG- 3.5 Off-white to white pages. This issue features the second appearance of Batman, and is one of a handful that does not feature him on the cover. It was also the last issue to feature Fu Manchu. The cover is Fred Guardineer, and story art is by him, Bob Kane, and Joe Shuster. Currently one of Overstreet's Top 100 Golden Age Comics. CGC notes, "Very minor amount of color touch on cover. Very minor amount of glue on spine." Overstreet 2024 VG 4.0 value = $24,000. CGC census 5/25: 2 in 3.5, 8 higher.CGC Grader Notes:
