Description
Norm Saunders Batman Trading Cards Blue Bat Series #6B "Canape for a Cobra" Painting Original Art (Topps, 1966). "It looked as if Batman had met his match in the Fiendish Fakir..." as the Caped Crusader is bound in place while a skull-adorned cobra is charmed from its basket, slithering toward the hero's face! Rendered for the first wave of "Blue Bat" trading cards, released to cash in on the height of Batmania, this piece was created in gouache on board with an approximate image size of 4.75" x 3.75". The art has light corner and edge wear and adhesive residue staining on the reverse. In Excellent condition. From the Howard Lowery Collection.
