More Fun Comics #73 (DC, 1941) CGC FN+ 6.5 Off-white to white pages. Gerber rates this spectacular issue a "7" or "scarce" on its Scarcity Index . What makes it so spectacular? Well, it contains the origin and first appearance of Aquaman, and the first appearances of the Green Arrow (Oliver Queen) and his sidekick Speedy (Roy Harper). Howard Sherman, Bernard Baily, and George Papp contributed art to the issue. The title is notoriously more scarce than other DC titles of the era, and issue #73 has been on Overstreet's Top 100 Golden Age Comics listing from the beginning, but in recent years has jumped from the second half of the list all the way to #27 currently.
