Description
Captain America Comics #14 Crowley Copy Pedigree (Timely, 1942) CGC VF 8.0 Off-white to white pages. So far we have offered only one unrestored copy with a higher grade than this one, and that was a VF/NM 9.0 we had offered more than 15 years ago in 2010. This famous "Remember Pearl Harbor" issue was the first to feature a Timely brand emblem, in this instance the blue-and-white Timely Comics Inc. shield logo. Also of note: The World War II / hooded cultists / Rising Sun cover is by Al Avison, with story art provided by him, Syd Shores, and Don Rico. Overstreet 2024 VF 8.0 value = $7,600. CGC census 1/26: 6 in 8.0, 5 higher.CGC Grader Notes:
