Mask Comics #1 The Promise Collection Pedigree (Rural Home, 1945) CGC VF+ 8.5 Off-white to white pages. Overstreet calls the "fairies to a flame" cover by L. B. Cole a classic, and most collectors obviously agree as this book sells for thousands of dollars even in low grade. The Mile High copy is restored unlike this one, so we think there's a very good chance this is the best existing copy of the issue, in or out of a CGC holder. Overstreet 2022 VF 8.0 value = $19,000; VF/NM 9.0 value = $34,500. CGC census 3/23: 1 in 8.5, none higher.CGC Grader Notes:
