Description

All Star Comics #3 (DC, 1940) CGC GD/VG 3.0 Cream to off-white pages. One of the Golden Age's most memorable covers and most significant issues, this comic currently ranks #20 on Overstreet's Top 100 Golden Age Comics list and arguably should rank even higher! The ultimate superhero team -- the Justice Society of America -- made its debut in this origin/first appearance issue, which also happens to be the first time the Atom appears on a cover. E. E. Hibbard did the iconic cover and contributed interior art, as did DC artist A-listers Sheldon Moldoff, Bernard Baily, Martin Nodell, and Creig Flessel. CGC notes, "Two pieces of tape on spine of cover." Overstreet 2013 GD 2.0 value = $4,800; VG 4.0 value = $9,600. CGC census 5/14: 5 in 3.0, 28 higher.
