Detective Comics #33 (DC, 1939) CGC FN+ 6.5 Off-white pages. Among the most valuable issues in the entire run of the illustrious title, this issue ranks number three, behind only issues #1 and #27, and why is that? Because here, for the first time, Batman's origin is told, and it's a story that is still being told as one of the most famous comic origin stories of all time! The book is currently listed at #16 on Overstreet's Top 100 Golden Age Comics list. The classic cover comes from Batman co-creator Bob Kane and Jerry Robinson.
