Chris Ware The New Yorker Cover Original Art dated 5-7-2012 (New Yorker, 2012). It's Mother's Day! This massive, intricately detailed original was published as the holiday cover for the August publication in 2012. Ware is internationally regarded as one of the most important cartoonists of the last thirty years and has become one of the most recognizable cover artists for the New Yorker. This is the first original we've offered, as the majority are locked up in permanent collections soon after publication. The artistry on display is breathtaking, with the logo completely hand-done art as well. Created in ink over blue pencil on oversized 20.25" x 29" Bristol board.
