Description

More Fun Comics #73 (DC, 1941) PSA VG+ 4.5 Cream to off-white pages. The origin and first appearances of Aquaman, Green Arrow, and Speedy have made this issue the second most valuable in the entire storied run of 127 issues. Issues #1-6 were actually titled New Fun Comics and began more than two years before the groundbreaking Action Comics #1 hit the stands. It's currently #28 on Overstreet's list of Top 100 Golden Age Comics, and adding to its collector allure, The Photo-Journal Guide to Comic Books rates it a "7" ("scarce") on its Scarcity Index. Overstreet 2024 VG 4.0 value = $31,300.
This also marks our first offering of a comic certified by PSA, a firm well-known and well-respected in the collectibles field that just began accepting comic grading submissions this summer.
