Detective Comics #38 (DC, 1940) CGC Apparent FN+ 6.5 Extensive (P) Off-white to white pages. The historic and highly sought after issue that introduced Robin ("The Sensational Character Find of 1940..."), and generally changed the mood and tone of the Batman stories that would follow. It also began a "Kid Sidekick" craze that led to Captain America's Bucky and countless others. A very important book in the Batman mythos as well as for the entire comic hobby! CGC notes, "Restoration includes: color touch, pieces added, tear seals, cover cleaned, interior lightened, reinforced, re-glossed." Includes a Colonel Collection COA.
