John Romita Jr. Uncanny X-Men #177 Cover Original Art (Marvel, 1984). Wolverine stands over Kitty Pryde's body on this striking cover. ...Or is she a robot? ...Or is he a robot? ...Or is one of them Mystique? You have to read the issue to find out! But whiteout art corrections on the cover indicate that the original version was much bloodier! Ink over graphite on Marvel Bristol board with an image area of 9.75" x 15". The logo and corner box are stat paste-up. As this issue was from "Assistant Editor's Month", it is signed by Assistant Editor Ann Nocenti in the lower margin, and by JRJR next to the UPC box.
