Brian Bolland Who's Who: The Definitive Directory of the DC Universe #4 "Camelot 3000" Double-Page Spread Pages 4-5 Illustration Original Art (DC, 1985). Arthur, the Once-and-Future King, lives up to his hype in this stand-alone 12-part maxi-series with artwork by another near legendary Brit... Brian Bolland! Formatted in such a way that it could easily have been used as a wraparound cover, the right-hand side features a resurrected King Arthur with the looming image of the near-immortal Merlin, along with denizens of the year 3000 Lady Guinevere, Sir Lancelot, and Sir Kay. The left-hand side features the villains Morgan Lefay, Modred, along with Knights of the Round Table... Sir Gawain, Sir Galahad, Sir Percival, Sir Tristan, and young Tom Prentice. Spectacularly rendered in ink over graphite with Bolland's amazing clean line and keen design sense. This is a knock-out piece with a huge 21" x 15.5" image area created on two pieces of conjoined white Bristol board. Matted to 28.5" x 20.5".
