Description
Gene Colan and Joe Sinnott Captain America #121 Cover Original Art (Marvel, 1970). Cap faces Man Brute to save a nun and children! It's a set-up that tugs at your heartstrings from "Gentleman" Gene Colan. Created in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". There is a whiteout and blue pencil correction. The entire masthead/logo is a modern day replacement copy affixed directly to the art board. There are some restoration touch-ups on Cap's shield and heel of his boot, and possibly more. There is a 1" rip in the upper left side margin. There are also production stains in the mid part of the right side of the image area, and along the right margin. Overall toning, and in Very Good condition.More information about Gene Colan.
