Description

Paul Orban Thrilling Wonder Stories V16#3 Interior Illustration Original Art (Better Pub. Inc., 1940). Created for a pulp magazine adaptation of the film Dr. Cyclops (1940). Once owned by Edgar Rice Burroughs, and subsequently by Harlan Ellison. Created in ink and Conte crayon on illustration board. The piece is matted with a color image of the cover of the published magazine (itself with a related cover by Howard V. Brown), and an engraved plaque stating information about provenance. Paul Corban signed at bottom right of the 20" x 16" image area. Lightly toned and in Excellent condition.
