Description
Hunter x Hunter "Hisoka × Kurapika × Spider's Whisper" Hisoka Morow Pan Production Cel and Pan Animation Drawing (Nippon Animation, 2000). Removing his own deflected weapon from his shoulder, the devious Hisoka makes a suspenseful appearance in this original pan production cel with matching pan animation drawing from Hunter x Hunter episode 29, "Hisoka × Kurapika × Spider's Whisper". Always in search of strong opponents, Hisoka Morow is the fan-favorite primary antagonist of the Hunter Exam and the Heavens Arena arcs of the long-running and beloved shonen series. Also known as "Hisoka the Magician" and "Grim Reaper," Hisoka is notorious for sparing his opponents who show potential so that they may pose an actual challenge for him later on. With his unique blue hair seen only in the earlier episodes of the first iteration of the series, Hisoka can be spotted near the 17:43 mark of the episode. This dramatic image shows the twisted villain from the back, his hand-painted closeup measuring an impressive 9.25" x 8" on the astonishingly large 18" x 10.75" pan production cel which bears the production code D21 near the center of the lower edge. Accompanying the cel is its matching animation drawing rendered in graphite and colored pencil on equally large 21.25" x 9.25" pan animation paper. With typical handling and edge wear including minor fading to the cel's linework with areas of professional restoration, and some minor surface scuffing/debris on both the drawing and cel, overall this pair is in Very Good condition.More information about Nippon Animation.
