Description
SpongeBob SquarePants Mr. Krabs Production Cel (Nickelodeon, c. 1999-2001). Hit with a touch of madness, presented here is an outstanding original production cel featuring Bikini Bottom's greatest entrepreneur Mr. Krabs from the fan-favorite Nicktoon SpongeBob SquarePants. This mega-popular Nickelodeon animated series (currently with 15 seasons and the fourth-longest running American animated series ever) created by marine science teacher, Stephen Hillenburg, is about an undersea sponge and his friends on their many zany adventures. This lot features an incredible expressive image of Mr. Krabs from Season 1, which was the only season to be traditionally cel animated. Hand-painted to half-figure, the burger boss measures 4" x 6" nicely centered on the 12 field cel which bears partial production codes along the lower edge and is paired with a print background for display purposes. A CoA is also included, though it misattributes the segment to "Squeaky Boots"; Mr. Krabs appears in approximately half of all Season 1 segments. With typical handling and edge wear, overall this crazed Krab is in Very Good condition.Auction Info
