Description
SpongeBob SquarePants "Arrgh!" SpongeBob Production Cel (Nickelodeon, 1999). "My turn!" SpongeBob grabs the game dice in this outstanding original production cel from Episode 17's "Arrgh!" of his titular long-running Nicktoon, SpongeBob SquarePants. This wildly-popular Nickelodeon original was created by marine science teacher Stephen Hillenburg and featured traditional cel animation only in the first season of its currently 15 and counting seasons. "Arrgh!" debuted on March 15, 2000 and saw Mr. Krabs become utterly obsessed with SpongeBob's Flying Dutchman's Treasure Hunt board game after joining in on a game at the Krusty Krab. SpongeBob can be seen taking a turn in their first playthrough near the 2:14 timestamp of the segment when viewed online. He has been hand-painted with hand-inked detail to a half-figured character size of approximately 3" x 4" nicely centered on the 12 field cel which is numbered in the lower right and comes paired with a print background for display purposes to which it has adhered. With typical handling and edge wear including the noted adhesion, overall this show of good sportsmanship is in Very Good condition.Auction Info
