Description

Donald's Golf Game Donald Duck Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1938). "Ah, what a perfect day for a perfect game of golf." Donald says to himself, checking the wind before he prepares to hit a great drive down the fairway. This outstanding 12 field 5-peghole animation drawing comes from the 1938 Jack King-directed short Donald's Golf Game. The theatrical short was released on 11/4/38 and featured Clarence Nash (1904 - 1985) as Donald. The usually grumpy duck is incredibly excited to play a great game, but his nephews have other ideas. They play pranks on him throughout his time on the course, leaving him increasingly frustrated. This graphite with color pencil drawing can be found towards the beginning of the short at about 0:44 just before Donald pushes his nephews to the side. The centered and full body figure measures about 3.75'' x 5'' and the drawing is labeled 12B in the lower right corner. There is light age-related toning with minor edge and handling wear. With only light debris, this drawing is in Very Good condition.
