Description

The Simpsons "I Am Furious (Yellow)" Original "Homer Sketch" Production Cel (Fox, 2002). This original production cel from The Simpsons episode "I Am Furious (Yellow)" (Season 13, Episode 18) features a sketchbook page with Bart's hilariously exaggerated drawing of an angry Homer. Captured at the 8:05 timestamp, this scene highlights Bart's budding cartoonist talent as he creates the character Angry Dad, based on Homer's notorious anger issues. In the episode, Bart is inspired by motivational speaker and cartoonist Geoff Jenkins, creator of Danger Dog, who visits Springfield Elementary during Career Day. Jenkins' speech encourages students to pursue cartooning, causing a classroom rebellion as students abandon their studies to follow their newfound dreams. Jenkins' antics anger Principal Skinner, who promptly kicks him out of the school. Bart's creation, Angry Dad, becomes a hit comic and later an internet series, much to Homer's dismay. Frustrated by the town's ridicule, Homer attempts to control his temper, even singing "Mellow Yellow" by Donovan. This hand-painted 12-field production cel depicts Bart's sketchbook with the mean image of Homer and is paired with a background print from the scene. The cel includes a Fox seal and comes with a Simpsons Certificate of Authenticity (COA). In Very Good condition, this cel is a fantastic collectible for fans of The Simpsons, celebrating Bart's creativity and the show's comedic brilliance.
