Description

Ben and Me Amos Mouse Animation Drawing Sequence of 3 (Walt Disney, 1953). "Joke? You call this a joke!?" In the fantastic sequence of three animation drawings featured in this lot, the disgruntled Amos Mouse shows why he doesn't think electrically shocking the little mouse's tail is no joking matter! From the 1953 Disney 20-minute short Ben and Me, we present in this lot the sequence of three animation drawings that shows up at the 16:18 mark. The poor shocked Amos shows up rendered in graphite on red colored pencil, measuring from 4.5" to 4.75" on the 12-field 3-peghole animation sheets, numbered 71, 76, and 79 in the bottom right corner. Drawings 76 and 79 show animation timing chart on the left edge, and they both have Amos' shadow rendered in green colored pencil. The three drawings have the center peghole reinforced. The lot overall presents very light age-related toning and minor handling and edge wear from production. In Very Good condition.
