Dudley Do-Right Singing with Nell and Horse Scene Cel #2 Signed by Jay Ward (Jay Ward, c. 1980s). Dim-witted Mountie Dudley Do-Right seems oblivious to the fact that his beloved Nell Fenwick is far more interested in Dudley's horse in this original hand-inked and hand-painted Scene Cel. In addition to appearing on The Rocky and Bullwinkle Show, there was also a stand-alone series, The Dudley Do-Right Show that ran from 4/27/1969 to 9/6/1970. Nell and Horse (he was never named) have a combined image size of approximately 5.5" x 6.5" while Dudley measures 3" x 5.75". Cels like this were originally sold at the Dudley Do-Right Emporium in Hollywood from 1971 to 2005. Whenever Jay Ward (1920 - 1989) was in the shop, he would hand-sign cels for customers, as he did here (below Dudley's feet); the shop operated from 1971 to 2005. As original production cels featuring Dudley Do-Right were not preserved, Scene cels are your best alternative - especially when signed by Jay Ward!
