Description
Moose Hunters Black Moose Color Model Drawing (Walt Disney, 1937). We have in this lot a marvelous color model drawing showcasing the Black Moose that Mickey, Donald, and Goofy are out to hunt in the 1937 Disney short Mouse Hunters. Color model drawings are used in production to maintain consistency across characters' coloring. The 12-field animation sheet shows two pictures of the Black Moose from the Ben Sharpsteen directed short, presenting the character from front and rear perspectives, measuring 4.25" tall in both images. The drawings present color call-outs, notes near the right edge, and it showcases colored pencil shadings on the Black Moose. A 5.25" tear is present on the left edge of the sheet. The drawing presents some staining, light age-related toning, faint blue ink stains, and light handling and edge wear from production. In Fair condition.Auction Info
