Description
The Rocky and Bullwinkle Show Bullwinkle, Rocky, Boris and Natasha Signed Scene Cel (Jay Ward, 1989). "Get Moose and Squirrel!" This show was originally titled Rocky and Friends between 1959-1960, but renamed The Bullwinkle Show in 1961-1964, and ultimately The Rocky and Bullwinkle Show. This is a hand-inked, hand-painted scene cel that was sold at the Dudley Do-Right Emporium on Sunset Blvd., in West Hollywood. These cels were sold unsigned and usually featured orange Bullwinkles. This is a rare brown Bullwinkle cel that also has Rocky, Boris, and Natasha. The cel is signed by two of the show's original directors, Bill Hurtz and Gerard Baldwin, as well as studio head, Jay Ward. While similar scene cels exist, very few include these three important signatures. It is in a mat measuring 16" x 20", with an opening of 10" x 12".
