Description

Mickey's Circus Mickey Mouse Production Drawings Group of 2 (Walt Disney, 1936). Ringmaster Mickey is the center of attention in this pair of original 12 field 5-peghole animation drawings. This lively short co-starring Donald Duck, was directed by Ben Sharpsteen, and first shown in theaters on 8/1/36. The list of animators working on this short subject reads like a "Who's Who" of Disney animation and includes Disney Legends Woolie Reitherman, Frank Thomas, Milt Kahl, Jack Hannah, Al Eugster, and Shamus Culhane. Of course, Mickey's voice was supplied by Walt Disney himself. These full-figure images of Mickey are in graphite, standing nearly 4" tall. The number "57" and "117" are noted in the lower right corner. In Good condition with edge wear and toning.
