Description
The Flintstones "The Treasure of Sierra Madrock" Pair of Villains Production Cel Signed by Joe Barbera (Hanna-Barbera, 1966). When Fred and Barney get taken on a phony gold strike in the desert near Rock Vegas, Wilma and Betty trick the crooks who then want to buy back the deed... but two other crooks steal it first! In this rare original hand-painted 12 field production cel from a Season 6 episode, we see the two other crooks who overheard plans and decided to grab that deed. "The Treasure of Sierra Madrock" was first shown on 2/11/1966 as one of the final ten episodes of this classic primetime series. The villains have image sizes of approximately 3.5" x 3.5" and 3" x 2" as they crawl along. The cel was hand-signed by series co-creator Joe Barbara (1911 - 2006) at a 1990s Midwest Animation Lecture Series event. The cel includes a print background for presentation and is matted with an opening of 10" x 8.25" and an overall mat size of 15.75" x 13.75"; a print of the episode's synopsis is taped to the backside. The cel is in Very Good condition with minor handling wear.Auction Info
