Weird Tales #14 November 1924 (Popular Fiction) CGC VG 4.0 Off-white pages. The first issue in pulp format following a year and a half of bedsheet releases, this includes "The Desert Lich" by Frank Belknap Long and "Thus Spake the Prophetess" by Arthur J. Burks, the first published stories by both authors. H. P. Lovecraft also makes an appearance in verse. Bookery's lists this issue as "very rare". CGC notes, "Coupon missing from page 91." Bookery's Guide to Pulps Second Edition 2020 VG 4.0 value = $3,000. CGC census 10/25: 2 in 4.0, none higher. NOTE: The newly released Bookery's Guide to Pulps: Revised Third Edition 2025 VG 4.0 value for this issue is $3,750.
