Description

The Amazing Spider-Man #1 JSA: Authentic Autograph: Stan Lee and Steve Ditko (Marvel, 1963) CGC Apparent VG/FN 5.0 Off-white pages. Spider-Man's origin is retold in just his second appearance, which also marks the first Fantastic Four crossover. This key issue features the first appearances of J. Jonah Jameson, John Jameson, and the Chameleon. The cover is a collaboration between Jack Kirby and Steve Ditko, with interior art by Ditko. Currently #6 on Overstreet's list of Top 50 Silver Age Comics. As if that weren't enough, this spectacular copy is signed by both Stan Lee and Steve Ditko -- a truly rare and remarkable feat, especially given Ditko's limited number of known autographs on major keys. CGC notes, "Auto 8 Steve Ditko and Stan Lee authenticated autographs on page 1. All 3 edges of cover trimmed." Overstreet 2024 GD 2.0 value = $5,200; VG 4.0 value = $10,400.
