Description
Dick Malmgren, Jon D'Agostino, Joe Edwards, and Others Archie's TV Laugh-Out #1 Complete Issue Original Art Group of 53 (Archie, 1969). Sabrina the Teen Age Witch kicks off this issue with the 12-page story "Super Duper Party Pooper". Of note, Panel 1 on Page 12 of this story features The Archies playing their very real hit song "Bang-Shang-A-Lang". (With Aung Hilda singing lead?)Joe Edwards provided two single-page Li'l Jinx stories, and Gus Lemoine provided the pencils for the 10-page Sabrina story "Great Celestial Sparks". Jon D'Agostino inked every story in the issue other than the two Li'l Jinx pages. The rest of the art pages were all penciled by Dick Malmgren.
There are two "Archie Club News" pages that are composed in all stat paste-ups. The art pages were created in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". The boards are lightly toned. Some have minor edge rips or corner wear. Some logos are stat paste-ups, as is the Indicia on Page 1. Overall the pages are in Very Good to Excellent condition, with most being in Excellent.
