Description

Dime Mystery Magazine #6 May 1933 (Popular) CGC VF/NM 9.0 Cream to off-white pages. Walter Baumhofer turned in a "good girl" cover for this issue, in the book-cover motif of this title's early issues. At the time of writing, this is one of two highest-graded copies of any issue from this entire title. This is made ever more impressive from how early this issue is in the title's 150+ issue run. Finding a pulp from the early 1930s in this kind of shape is truly miraculous, and this one comes from a fan-favorite title. Bookery's Guide to Pulps Second Edition 2020 VF 8.0 value = $360. CGC census 9/25: 1 in 9.0, none higher. NOTE: The newly released Bookery's Guide to Pulps: Revised Third Edition 2025 VF 8.0 value for this issue is $750.
From the Dr. Richard Meli Collection.
