Dime Detective Magazine #106 May 1938 Strasser Pedigree (Popular) CGC NM 9.4 White pages. With white pages and unbelievable eye appeal, this issue's as good as gold. John Fleming Gould created a memorably bizarre torture / bondage cover for this issue featuring "Short Order Kill" by Cornell Woolrich. Prior to this Auction, we had only seen one issue of Dime Detective with a CGC grade of 8.0 and none higher. Bookery's Guide to Pulps Second Edition 2020 VF 8.0 value = $360. CGC census 9/25: 1 in 9.4, none higher. NOTE: The newly released Bookery's Guide to Pulps: Revised Third Edition 2025 VF 8.0 value for this issue is $1,000.From the Dr. Richard Meli Collection.
