Spicy Mystery Stories #14 July 1936 (Culture) CGC NM- 9.2 Off-white pages. This issue is among the most beloved of all Spicy pulps, thanks largely due to H. J. Ward's iconic "good girl" / giant hand cover for "Her Demon Lover". Within, this issue contains art by H. L. Parkhurst, another signature Spicy artist. This issue is so highly sought-after that we last sold a trimmed FN copy for nearly $3,500! We have never seen a copy without trimming or restoration above a VG, and there is no telling what kind of bidding a 9.2 may inspire. This is as gorgeous as any pulp we've ever seen, and is the epitome of great "good girl" art. Bookery's Guide to Pulps Second Edition 2020 VF 8.0 value = $900. CGC census 9/25: 1 in 9.2, none higher.
