David Wright Carol Day #1171 Daily Comic Strip Original Art (London Daily Mail, 1960). Edward reveals to Carol that he plans to try to sell a boat to Ernie... and that hopefully Carol will help him. A detailed scene from the "Money Matters" story arc rendered in ink over graphite on a illustration board with an image area of 17" x 5.25". Slight toning, dust shadow along the right edge, marginal notes, whiteout corrections, adhesive stain in the top of Panel 2, top left corner ding, with light soiling and edge/handling wear.
