Description
John Giunta Adventures of the Fly #10 Complete 12-Page Story Original Art (Archie, 1961). It may have just been the early 1960s, but Archie Comics already knew what sold comics at the time... Superheroes, Gorillas, and Dinosaurs! The story "The World of the Giant Gorillas!" has it all! And the original art paste-up "Next Issue" panel on the last page promised UFOs, Aliens, and Rocket-Men for the next issue! Created twice-up scale in ink over graphite and blue pencil on Bristol board with an image area of 12" x 17.5". The logo on Page 1 is a printed paste-up, and there is a missing stripped-in text correction in the story title (leaving a hole in the page). The toned boards have some whiteout text/art corrections. Pages 6-7 are a double-page spread on a single oversized Bristol board. In Very Good condition.Lookup the Comic Book in our Guide
