Super Mario Bros. 2 - Wata 9.6 A+ Sealed [Oval SOQ R, 3 Line Warranty, Last Production], NES Nintendo 1988 USA. According to Wata's September 2025 population report, only three copies of this Super Mario Bros. 2 variant are graded numerically higher than this very nicely preserved example. A landmark title in the NES library, Super Mario Bros. 2 reimagined the series with bold new mechanics, which let players pick up and throw objects, pull vegetables from the ground, and choose from four distinct characters-Mario, Luigi, Toad, and Princess Toadstool--each with unique abilities. Adapted from the Japanese game Doki Doki Panic, the sequel introduced such foes as Shy Guys and Birdo, while its dreamlike setting and emphasis on exploration helped cement its reputation as one of the most distinctive and influential entries in the Mario franchise.View the certification for Wata Certification ID 576737-003, including grader's notes if available.
