Smash Comics #1 Mile High pedigree (Quality, 1939) CGC VF/NM 9.0 White pages. A stunning key issue from the Mile High collection that exhibits white pages and colors that leap off the cover! Bozo, the first robot to grace any comic book cover, wrestles with a nasty looking gorilla on this one. Smash would eventually showcase the Ray, brilliantly fleshed out by Lou Fine, and Jack Cole's Midnight, a precursor to the legendary Plastic Man. Very minor defects keep this book from grading NM, but you'd never know that by looking at it.
