Carl Barks - "Dangerous Discovery," Regular Edition Lithograph, numbered 14/350 (Another Rainbow, 1993). Carl Barks' "Dangerous Discovery" spotlights the whole Donald Duck clan, including Uncle Scrooge and Huey, Dewey, and Louie, inside the fabled cave of Ali Baba, amazed at the dazzling riches their torches reveal, and unaware of a deadly menace lurking in the shadows. A Roc, a mythical bird of prey so powerful it was said to be able to carry off elephants to feed its young, is poised to pounce on all intruders. This print measures 25" x 21.5", with a 20" x 16" image area. Signed by Carl Barks. In Excellent condition. The numbered Certificate of Authenticity is also included in this lot.Auction Info
