Hitoshi Ikematsu City of the future, Visions of space and the future in Japan Illustration Original Art (Ike Designs, 1980). Presented here is another of the pre-conceptual space exploration jewels developed by Ike Designs. Some of these concepts and visuals have been used on the covers of novels with Retrofuturism themes. In general, the quality of the work in these images allowing us to travel through time is simply amazing, with incredible attention to detail! A magnificent aerial view of a city of the future, already thought of in the early 80s. A little taste of Palm Jumeirah of the Emirates, isn't it! Acrylic on Bristol board laminated on a foamboard with an image surface of 19" x 11". Protective flyleaf with studio sticker. Stamp. Light handling wear on the edges. Signed. Certains de ces concepts et visuels ont été repris sur des couvertures de romans ayant pour thèmes le Rétrofuturisme. De manière générale, la qualité du travail au travers d'images nous faisant voyager hors du temps est tout simplement bluffante, le souci du détail est clairement là ! Une magnifique vue aérienne d'une ville du futur, déjà pensée début des années 80. Un petit goût de Palm Jumeirah des Émirats, n'est-ce pas ! Acrylique sur board Bristol contrecollé sur un foamboard avec une superficie d'image de 48 x 28 cm. Feuille de garde volante avec sticker du studio. Cachet. Légère manipulation le long des bords. Signée. En Très Bonne condition.
