Description
Magic: The Gathering Rock Hydra Limited Edition (Alpha) CGC Trading Card Game Mint 9 (Wizards of the Coast, 1993) Rare. Only 1,100 copies of each rare card were printed in the groundbreaking Alpha Edition set of the Magic: The Gathering card game, making each copy that comes along an event of note! Offered here is the rare card Rock Hydra. This card reads: "Put X +1/+1 counters (heads) on Hydra. Each point of damage Hydra suffers destroys one head unless R is spent. During upkeep, new heads may be grown for RRR apiece." Note that this text contains misprints, as each instance of "R" should have been a red mana symbol. The artwork was done by Jeff A. Menges. CGC has certified 5 copies earning a Mint 9 grade with 5 graded higher.Auction Info
