Action Comics #17 (DC, 1939) CGC FN 6.0 Cream to off-white pages. This issue's war cover was only the fifth cover appearance overall for Superman! The cover is by the character's co-creator Joe Shuster, who along with writer Jerry Siegel produced this issue's Superman story. The issue's other artists include Bob Kane, Bernard Baily, George Papp, and Fred Guardineer.
