Shoji Kawamori Robotech / Super Dimension Cavalry Southern Cross, Sammie Porter Cellulo de Production, Master Background C-147 (Artland/Tatsunoko Productions, 1982). Macross, ou 'The Super Dimension Fortress Macross', est une série japonaise d'animation de science-fiction mecha de 36 épisodes, créée par le studio Nue et Shôji Kawamori en 1982. La série a assez vite acquis le statut de mythe en raison de son principe reposant sur trois éléments, des mechas au design réaliste conçus par Shôji Kawamori appelés valkyries, une ambiance musicale assurée par les chansons d'une jeune idole, Lynn Minmay (Mari Iijima) et surtout le scénario mélangeant space-opera et triangle amoureux. Cellulo de production peint à la main de Sammie Porter et son master background premium d'une qualité rarement vue. Superficie d'image de 34 x 24 cm.
