George Wunder Terry and the Pirates Daily Comic Strip Original Art dated 11-8-49 (News Syndicate Inc., 1949). Three years into his run as the successor to Milton Caniff, George Wunder clearly put his own stamp on the series, with his unique style and use of high-contrast blacks and whites which are a testament to his skill as an artist. Great artwork, featuring our heroes with the Dragon Lady, done in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 21.5" x 6.5". Slightly toned with handling wear and marginal smudging.
