Gilles Chaillet La Dernière Prophétie, Voyages Aux Enfers #1 Planche 7 (Glénat, 2002). On se souvient surtout de Gilles Chaillet pour sa série historique Vasco (1979), qui suit les épreuves et les tribulations politiques et économiques du 14e siècle en Italie. Assistant de Jacques Martin pendant de nombreuses années sur les séries Alix et Lefranc, il a également écrit, parfois dessiné, diverses bandes dessinées se déroulant dans la Rome antique, comme La Dernière Prophétie (2002-2012). Ecrit et dessiné par Chaillet lui-même, l'intrigue se déroule juste avant la chute de l'Empire romain, sous le règne de Théodose I. Encre de Chine sur papier bristol avec une superficie d'image de 30 x 40 cm. Signée. Gilles Chaillet is best remembered for his historical series Vasco (1979), which follows the political and economic trials and tribulations in 14th century Italy. Being for many years an assistant of Jacques Martin on Alix and Lefranc series, he also wrote and occasionally drew various comics set in ancient Rome, such as La Dernière Prophé tie (2002-2012). Written and drawn by Chaillet himself, the plot is set during the final stages before the Fall of the Roman Empire, during the reign of Theodosius I. Ink on Bristol paper with an image area of 11.75" x 15.75". Signed. In Excellent condition.
