Police Comics #13 Mile High pedigree (Quality, 1942) CGC VF/NM 9.0 White pages. In the 1940s, the war effort organized drives to recycle raw materials for our boys overseas. Paper drives caused many comic books of the day to be destroyed and on this Reed Crandall cover, Plas is on the run from the rubber drive. This issue features the introduction of Woozy Winks, who would Join Plastic Man in many adventures to come. Firebrand ends in this ish as well. Gill Fox, Will Eisner, and Jack Cole contribute art to backup features. Check out the page quality on this Edgar Church copy. Overstreet 2006 VF/NM 9.0 value = $1,297; NM- 9.2 value = $1,775.
